At Set Hotels, we celebrate ten years of Quality and Sustainability by renewing the ISO 9.001 and ISO 14.001 certificates in all our establishments.
Also, coinciding with this anniversary, the new Hotel 55 Santo Tomás obtains both certifications within a few months of opening.
The Hotel 55 Santo Tomás, four stars superior inaugurated last May, has been designed with modern and efficient facilities that have allowed to obtain these international certifications of quality and environment a few months after having opened its doors.
With the certification, we become the only hotel chain in Menorca that has all certified establishments, in this case, by the prestigious certifying entity SGS.
In our commitment to provide the highest quality of service and respect for the environment, in November 2007, we began adapting the quality system that we already had in place towards an integrated system. This stage culminated with the obtaining of the international badges ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in the whole of the hotel chain (including our headquarters) in October 2008.
In the words of our CEO, Francisco Mercadal, “having the ISO 9001 certification constitutes a guarantee of maximum quality to our customers. Being certified means that we maintain a policy of permanent improvement at all times. Periodically we set goals and improvement actions to meet your expectations and increase your satisfaction. ”
On the other hand, having the ISO 14001 system allows us that customers who choose one of our establishments, make compatible the practice of tourism with respect to the environment of our island (Biosphere Reserve), collaborating with energy and water saving measures that we have implemented and in the correct separation of waste, both urban and dangerous.
